A cup of green tea every morning – especially on an empty stomach – can help in cleansing the body from toxins as well. You will also be able to get rid of any constipation problems. Don’t worry, green tea is low on calories.


Also, keep watch on those juice and carbonated sodas or drinks that you take. An average American consumes an extra 245 calories a day just from drinking soft drinks. Besides, sugary drinks don’t trigger a sense of fullness the way that food does.

You can also add some exercise into your daily routine. Even just a simple 10 minute walk up and down the stairs can help your shed as much as 10 pounds. You can also walk around for five minutes at least every two hours.

  1. I really like the tip about drinking water. I really do try to tell everyone I know how important it is to drank water above anything else. I usually drink at least a gallon a day. Do you think that is too much? That is usually the only thing I drink daily, along with some green tea in the morning. Thanks for this!

      I really don’t know if it is too much water to consume in a day. I do not know your lifestyle. You may be very active so that may be the reason that you consume a gallon a day. You know they say at least 8 glasses a day for the average person. It all depends on different things that you do each day. Thanks for the feedback Ralph.
